Description

Creagh Equestrian Centre is located just off the R357 about 4 miles from Ballinasloe, the gateway to the West. It was established in 1994 by brother and sister Damien and Fiona Carey. Damien and Fiona had been riding from an early age, attending competitions and various events. Their love of horses was encouraged by their parents. They started off with a handful of ponies and horses, giving lessons outdoors in their sand arena. Gradually they built up a core customer base with new beginners starting every week. In 1999 they built a state of the art indoor arena, which was later extended. They have now added an all-weather outdoor arena, perfect for show jumping. It is an AIRE approved equestrian centre.

Riding Lessons

Lessons are taught by a qualified instructor and are available for all levels of rider. Hats are provided, but it is recommended that the rider wear boots, such as wellies or riding boots. There are horses and ponies available for every age and level. Lessons are held Monday- Friday at 6, 7 and 8pm. Saturday at 10 & 11am, 12, 2 & 3pm.
